Brigade
What has this
got to do with Tennyson!? Not much, really. The Light Brigade was a four
issue prestige format miniseries I worked on for a year and a half, now
collected into a trade paperback. It's a brutal WWII tale with some supernatural
elements thrown on top,and it was an immensely rewarding project to work
on. The story is written by Peter Tomasi and although it's filled with
bonesplitting action, it also contains many scenes of mood and yes, even
lyrical qualities. Something like that really requires a colourist out
of the ordinary, and I am proud that we managed to recruit the talents
of Bjarne Hansen for this.
